About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, proactive, and customer-focused Retail Executive to join the Zora retail store team. In this role, you will support daily store operations to ensure smooth sales activities and provide customers with an excellent shopping experience. You will be responsible for maintaining store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards, managing product displays, monitoring stock availability, and delivering outstanding customer service to support overall store performance.

As a Retail Executive, you will also work closely with the retail team to achieve sales targets, improve operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is energetic, responsible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. Reporting directly to the Retail Manager, this role plays an important part in enhancing customer satisfaction and contributing to the success of the store.

Key Task & Responsibilities

1) Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
2) Promote and recommend products to customer while assisting them with their purchasing decision and enquiries.
3) Handle customer payments accurately and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
4) Manage stock counting, stock arrangement, and inventory updates to ensure accurate stock records and proper product availability.
5) Maintain store cleanliness and product presentation to ensure a neat, organized, and welcoming shopping environment.
6) Prepare daily sales reports, inventory records and other basic store documetation accurately and on time.
7) Support overall store operations and perform additional duties assigned by the management.

Qualifications & Experience

1) Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
2) At least 1 year of working experience in retail, preferably in fashion or women’s clothing industry.
3) Experience and hands-on knowledge of POS systems and Shopify will be an added advantage.
4) Competent in handling customer payments, sales transactions, and basic sales reporting accurately and responsibly.
5) Good communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and customer-oriented approach.
6) Demonstrates responsibility, reliability, and punctuality, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
7) Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and shifts as required by store operations
8) Proficient in both Bahasa Malaysia and English, verbally and in writing.

Required Skills

Technical / Hard Skills
1) Basic familiarity with POS systems and retail payment handling. Hands-on experience with Shopify is an added advantage.
2) Competent in conducting stock counts, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating replenishment, and maintaining accurate stock record with accuracy and attention to detail.
3) Proficient in compiling and reviewing daily and weekly sales reports, identifying discrepancies, and escalating findings to management where necessary.
4) Well-versed in end-to-end store operations including opening and closing procedures, housekeeping standards, and adherence to SOPs.
5) Capable of maintaining store cleanliness and executing product displays and clothing arrangements in accordance with brand guidelines and seasonal direction.

About the Role

The Part-Time Retail Assistant plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of Zora retail store to ensure efficient store management and high-quality customer service. The responsibilities include assisting customers with their needs, maintaining cleanliness and attractive product displays, processing basic sales transactions, and ensuring products are properly arranged and sufficiently stocked. The role will works closely with the retail store team to help achieve sales targets, uphold store standards, and create a pleasant shopping experience for customers. In addition, the role requires adherence to company policies, support for daily store activities, and carrying out other duties assigned by the supervisor or Retail Manager.

Key Task & Responsibilities

1) Support the store team in providing friendly, professional, and attentive customer service by assisting shoppers with enquiries and product selection.
